BioMy actual name is Andy. I'm a software engineer working at a small image processing company in upstate New York (more specifically, the capital district, since "upstate" generally refers to pretty much anything north of Westchester).
A lot of people think the Albany area is a horrifically boring place to live. While that may hold a grain of truth, I very rarely think to myself "Gee, I really wish I lived in (city x) so I could do (activity y)." Especially because (activity y) is probably some touristy thing that I would never do if I actually lived in (city x) anyway. The only thing I really lament is not having a major league baseball team closeby. Other than that, I'm pretty okay with living here. Also, it's cheaper to live here than pretty much any place that boasts a lot of (activity y)'s.
Anything else you want to know about me will have to bleed through in my posts. I don't post often, but there's probably enough to start getting an idea of what I'm like.
